This is what we are doing to keep you safe while we are in your home…

1. New Clothes Every time

We want you to know that when we enter your home, we have a second set of freshly laundered clothing to change into. We will do all we can to prevent any potential exposure of any viruses through community exposure from our clothing.

2. Hand Hygiene All The Time

We will be carrying Alcohol Based Hand Rub (ABHR) authorized by Health Canada that meets the requirements to be sold in Canada. This hand rub will be used as often as possible when our night nurses do not have access to water and soap and before & after any procedure with the clients. We will also be using our own soaps and lotions to ensure we prevent community cross contamination by being consistent with the hand cleansers we use in your homes.

3. Masks & Gloves

We carry Medical Grade Gloves & Masks that is changed to the discretion of the nurse and the family she is caring for. For your protection, gloves will be used during any procedure where there may be an exposure to bodily fluids. We will be using masks during the entire visit for your family’s protection during this pandemic as recommended by the Government of Canada website as face coverings help limit the spread of the virus.
