Postpartum care by Registered Nurses
We handle the feedings, the soothing, and the safety checks, giving you the rest you deserve. Right here in Edmonton and Calgary.
Many families come to us exhausted and overwhelmed. That's exactly when we can help. A night nurse is a Registered Nurse who spends the night in your home, caring for your baby, supporting your recovery, and making sure everyone is safe while you sleep.
Our founder, Sarah Ruth Domingo, is a dedicated RN with over 15 years of maternity experience. She built NightOwl Nursing on one belief: postpartum support isn't a luxury, it's part of good care.
Whether you've just brought home your first baby or you have other littles running around, we're here to help you get the rest you need while providing the care your newborn needs.
Our Registered Nurses care for your baby overnight. Feeding, soothing, safety checks, all handled so you can finally sleep. Right here in Edmonton and Calgary.

Blue Cross plans have a very high rate of coverage for our services. We'll confirm the details during your consultation.
What if I have a different provider?
Many employer health plans cover postpartum nursing. We'll help you check during your free consultation.
What if I'm not covered?
We offer flexible packages and we're happy to discuss rates during your consultation. Every family's needs are different.
How Night Nursing Works
The first weeks at home can feel isolating. The excitement fades, the visitors slow down, and you're left navigating 2:00 a.m. feeds, cluster feeding, and colicky evenings on little sleep. That's completely normal, and that's exactly when we step in.
During your consultation, we'll talk through what your nights and days actually look like, and together we'll design a care plan that feels realistic. From there, we schedule overnight shifts tailored to your family's routine.
Our Process →
Postpartum is hard, and support is part of good care. Our overnight nurses make sure you get that critical rest while learning key skills to care for and bond with your baby. This helps reduce the stress, anxiety, and burnout that so many new parents experience.
You stay in control. Our role is to bring the clinical expertise, handle the overnight hours, and help you adjust to this new phase of your life armed with knowledge and confidence. By the time we say goodbye, you won't be carrying it all alone anymore.
We also offer emotional coaching, postpartum support, infant care lessons, weight tracking, and healthcare navigation. Ask us anything about what support could look like in your home.
